A Working Wooden Siege Catapult
The Ballistic Trebuchet is a functioning wooden model kit that launches the five included table tennis balls with a rubber-band powered arm, no batteries required. You assemble 158 laser-cut wooden pieces into a working siege catapult, then load and fire it as a hands-on desk display.
Functioning Siege Artillery
The elastic launch mechanism drives a precision barrel for a smooth, repeatable throw, so you can adjust your aim and range across shots. The finished trebuchet stands 32 cm long and works as both a mechanical engineering project and a display piece once the build is done.
Hands-On Historical Build
This wooden catapult kit is a STEM project in medieval technology: as you build and operate it, you see the leverage and tension principles behind real siege weapons. The roughly 3 hour assembly suits history buffs, engineering enthusiasts, and model builders aged 14 and up.
