The Spherical Tourbillon Chronograph is a 218-piece 3D wooden puzzle that builds into a working mechanical tourbillon sculpture. Modeled on a mechanical armillary sphere, the spherical escapement rotates on two axes to show the motion of a real tourbillon movement, a hands-on kit for adult puzzle builders, mechanical engineering fans, and desk-decor collectors.

A key-wound spring drives the mechanism, and once fully wound the tourbillon runs for about one hour. The 360-degree rotating escapement shows how a real tourbillon reduces gravitational error, turning steadily between motion and pause as the wooden gears tick.
