The Luminous Mantis is a 3D metal model kit that assembles from more than 1000 precision-cut stainless steel parts into an articulated, light-up praying mantis sculpture. Built for adult model builders, mechanical puzzle fans, and collectors, the finished mantis moves and glows as a desk or shelf display piece.

Built-in Magnetic LED Lights

Three independent magnetic light groups illuminate the assembled mantis: eye lighting, double-clamp arm lights, and abdominal segment lighting. Switch between modes to display the model in a low-light desk setup, a gaming room shelf, or as ambient room decor. The lights run on batteries.

Fully Articulated Mechanical Build

Unlike static metal models, the Luminous Mantis is poseable. The ball-jointed head rotates, the multi-segment antennae and abdomen flex, the giant pliers articulate, and the front and back wings spread, so you can reposition the finished sculpture for ongoing display variety.

Stainless Steel Construction Held By Screws

Laser-cut stainless steel parts with rounded corners assemble using screws rather than glue, so the model can be adjusted or taken apart later. Translucent panels in Green or Purple, depending on the variant, give the body its luminous insect look under the LED lights.
